How to use Find & Replace?

  1. Paste or type your text into the editor.
  2. Enter a Find value (and optional Replace value). Use Find to highlight matches, then Replace first or Replace all.
  3. Open RegEx Options for pattern-based find/replace or line cleanup, then Copy or Download .txt when done.

What is Find & Replace, and how does it work?
ToolsX360’s Find & Replace helps you search within text and replace matches—either the first match or all matches. It highlights matches in red and replacements in blue, while letting you keep editing the same text area. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Does it support case-sensitive and whole-word matching?
Yes. Turn on Case sensitive to match exact letter casing, and Whole word to match complete words only (so “cat” won’t match “concatenate”).
Can I use regular expressions (RegEx)?
Yes. Open RegEx Options, choose Find RegEx, enter a pattern, and optionally provide a replacement. This is useful for advanced edits like matching numbers, emails, or repeated whitespace.
Can I clean up line breaks or empty lines here?
Yes. In RegEx Options you can remove line breaks (join lines) or remove empty lines—useful when pasting from PDFs or emails.
Is my text uploaded or stored on your servers?
No. Find & Replace runs locally in your browser. Your text is not sent to ToolsX360 for processing or storage.
